The U.S 7th Army suffered 83,000 Battle Casualties from It' Landing in Southern France on August 15, 1944, to VE-Day or Victory in Europe Day, May 8, 1945 including 55,000 Battle Casualties in the Battle of Alsace from November 1944 to March 1945, in Northeastern, France from the Saar Industrial Basin to the Upper Rhine River North of Strasbourg. Overall, the U.S 6th Army Group suffered 95,000 Battle Casualties mostly in Alsace from November 1944 to March 1945 making Alsace the 2nd Most Martyred Region of France after Normandy where the American, British and Canadian Armies suffered 135,000 Battle Casualties in Normandy and 85,000 Battle Casualties in several different Regions of Northern France like Brittany etc. from June to August 1944 with Lorraine 3rd Highest where the U.S 3rd Army suffered 50,000 Battle Casualties from September to December 1944.
